EDC Youth Program

 THE EDC YOUTH 
The EDC is eager to provide it's own youth program to engage Alberta's youth to participate in a fun inclusive activity, that will help build friendships and different life skills, while also giving players an opportunity to challenge themselves.
One of the most important objectives of the EDC is to provided a strong full season youth system to encourage the growth of the sport of Darts in Western Canada. The EDC youth program will be set up with this in mind - including having only 3 player categories based on age: The Juniors will be any player aged 9 -12, The Intermediate will be any player aged 13-16 and finally our Seniors will be any player aged 16 -21. The player will fit into one of these categories based on their age on the start date of the event. Providing a full season Youth program will mean Youth events will be played throughout the year with potential tournaments to be played in Airdrie, Calgary, Olds, Didsbury, Medicine Hat, Lethbridge and more. The youth players are our future, The EDC (formerly WCD)  was excited to Sponsor it's first player in Season one, allowing this player to participate in weekly practice sessions with a registered youth darts program, play in tournaments around Alberta and attend the Provincial tryouts.
